More About Us

Although we are English speaking we welcome members from every nationality, and the richness which diverse cultures can bring.

Socialising and making new friends are fundamental, as members share skills and knowledge in a joint process of learning and discovery.  Groups vary in size and they determine their own course of study with their group leader.  The smaller groups meet in each others homes and this adds to the friendly informal atmosphere.  For larger groups we use a variety of venues in our local areas, and outside visits are arranged where appropriate for groups such as Archaeology and Mediterranean Gardening.  Open meetings with speakers are arranged from time to time.
